It is open from April to October and it was designed by Andrea Palladio for Nicol\u00f2 and Alvise Foscari, after his last trip to Rome in 1554.<\/p>\n<p>The villa is symmetric and it is composed of 3 floors in order to distinguish ideally the functional activities, on the ground floor, from the \u201cnoble\u201d ones, at the first floor, and the deposit ones of the agricultural produce upstairs. The frescoes respect this division, decorating walls and ceilings of the noble floor, whereas the furniture show the palladian conception, as the willing of the current owners, who tried to preserve, as it was possible, the furniture\u2019s conception introduced in the 20ies and 30ies by A.C.
