Padua

City full of traditions and seat of the University

Padua boasts more than 3000 years of history and an abounding panorama of monuments with a great cultural value

Seat of the University and city full of history, Padua is an all-year-long culturally vibrant city that offers a calendar full of musical, cultural, sport and cinematic events.

We certainly suggest to explore the city and discover all the secret corners, because, as you will see, Padua will make you comfortable thanks to its young and cozy atmosphere. The first stop has to be the visit of the “Musei Civici Eremitani”. There you can admire the enchanting Scrovegni Chapel with Giotto’s frescoes and the Eremitani Church, located next to the museum complex.

Keeping on the route to the city center, it’s a must the stop at the famous Caffè Pedrocchi. Later we suggest you to visit the Palazzo del Bò, seat of the University of Padua.

We remind other meaningful attractions such as Palazzo della Ragione, the grave of Antenore, founder of the city Padua, and Palazzo Zabarella, seat of painting exhibitions. A visit of the Botanical Garden, UNESCO site, and Sant’Antonio Church, one of the most significant symbol of the city, can not be missed.
